A place in the Division 4 final is at stake this weekend as Whitehall Colmcille and Templeport stage the Division 4 finals. Two intriguing battles are in store.
Antrim v Limerick, Sun Mar 26th, Whitehall Colmcille GAA Club, 2pm
Reigning All-Ireland Junior champions Antrim take on last year’s Division 4 beaten finalists Limerick in Kinnegad on Sunday.
Both teams come into this game unbeaten in the group stages. Antrim had three wins from three in their Group and were very impressive in all three games.
Limerick three and drew one in their group. Both teams were big scorers in the group stages but were tight at the back. Something will have to give on Sunday with a place in the Division 4 final at stake.
Fermanagh v Leitrim, Sun Mar 26th, Templeport, 2pm
Leitrim manager Jonny Garrity will come up against his former side on Sunday. The last time Fermanagh were in the Division 4 final was under Garrity.
The Erne County finished behind Antrim in Group A. They’re only defeat came to their Ulster rivals in their opening game but they bounced back with two fine wins over Carlow and London. They’ll want that run to continue on Sunday.
Leitrim finished top of Group B with three wins and a draw. They were high scorers in the division finishing with a score difference of 80. They’ll hope to continue their fine form on Sunday against neighbours Fermanagh.
