Preview: Lidl NFL Div 4 Group A & B

Games in both Groups this weekend. All-Ireland champions Antrim travel to London in the hope of picking up their second win in a row. In Group B Limerick and Leitrim meet in a top of the table clash at Rathkeale.

Group A

London v Antrim, Sun 19th Feb, Ruislip at 2pm

All-Ireland Junior champions Antrim are on their travels this weekend. London welcome them to Ruislip.

Antrim were impressive in their opening game against Fermanagh and signaled their intentions for the year.

London found the going tough against Carlow in their last game and will want to put on a good performance in front of their home fans.

Fermanagh v Carlow, Sun 19th Feb, Darver at 2pm

This is only the second game in Group A but it’s a big one. A win for Fermanagh and they’re in with a great chance of securing a place in the semi-finals.

Carlow had a great win in their last game against London but know Fermanagh will be a different proposition.

Fermanagh lost to Antrim in their opening game. They know they can perform better and will be hoping to put in a big display in Darver.

Group B

Limerick v Leitrim, Sun 19th Feb, Rathkeale at 2pm

The game of the day in Division 4 is the top of the table clash between Limerick and Leitrim in Rathkeale.

Leitrim have recorded big wins in their opening two games but know Limerick will provide a stiff test for them.

Limerick had a fine win away to Wicklow last weekend and will be hoping to repeat that performance against Leitrim.

Wicklow v Kilkenny, Sun 19th Feb, Baltinglass at 2pm

After a disappointing defeat to Limerick last weekend, Wicklow will hope to bounce back with a win against bottom side Kilkenny.

It was Wicklow’s first defeat of the league campaign and put a big dent into their hopes of finishing in the top 2.

Kilkenny are bottom of Group B without a point so far. They have battled in games but have found the going very tough.
