Fixture details confirmed for Senior Semi’s plus Junior and Intermediate Finals in LGFA

The four winning teams face a quick turnaround with little time to celebrate as the LGFA Senior Semi Finals have been penned for this Saturday, July 16th in Croke Park.

Mayo and Kerry open up proceedings at 2pm with Donegal and reigning champions Meath to follow at 4pm.

Kerry came through Armagh, who they had previously beat in a league final in the spring, to set up a cracking encounter with Mayo, who beat Cork in what many saw as a surprise result on Saturday.

Meath left it late but showed their champion spirit with a late Emma Duggan point-earning their spot in the last four against Donegal, who turned the most heads at the weekend with their victory over Dublin helped by two Karen Guthrie goals

The Intermediate and Junior Finals will be the curtain-raiser for the Women’s Senior Final between Kerry/Mayo and Meath/Donegal in three weeks’ time, with Antrim and Fermanagh facing off in the Junior Final at 11:45am in HQ, shortly followed by Laois and Wexford doing battle for the Intermediate title at 1:45pm.

The Senior decider is penned for 4pm, with tickets for all these fixures already available.
