Ballinaglera GAA club was formed in 1982 having previously been amalgamated with Allen Gaels. The club serves a rural area confined to the Parish of Ballinaglera, which is located between the eastern shores of Lough Allen and Sliabh an Iarainn mountain. Arguably the club’s greatest achievement to date came when they proved victorious in the County Intermediate Championship in 1996.
The main pitch and dressing rooms at Pairc Naomh Aodh were developed in 1988, a training pitch and playground were added in 2009 and last year saw the completion of a new all purpose sports hall and gym.
