Leitrim’s Senior Footballers built on the solid opening day performance against Cavan in Semple Stadium with an excellent second half display to have eight points to spare against the 2020 Munster Football Champions. Former Leitrim player and current coach with the team James Glancy joins Breifne to talk about the game and the season so far.

Returning Ladies footballer Roisin Fowley drops into to chat about her return to the county fold after a few years living abroad, Dromahair’s Intermediate Championship win and the club’s return to the Senior grade this year. She will also be looking forward to this year’s League campaign and the upcoming clash with Fermanagh this weekend.

Stephen Goldrick joins the show to discuss the hurler’s comfortable victory in Abbotstown at the weekend to kickstart their Division 3B league campaign with games against neighbours Cavan, Fermanagh and Longford to come after this weekend’s idle round for the Green and Gold.

Finally Breifne is joined by Leitrim Scor’s Laura Crossan to discuss the upcoming year, what clubs and participants can expect and why clubs should make an effort to participate in the cultural arm of the GAA with under 17’s participating in Scór na nÓg and adults in Scór Sinsir.
